Trouble in Abada Mondi
A course on landscape restoration and conflict resolution for field officers in Afghanistan
Mission: We worked closely with afghan locals to explore stories and engagement strategies for the course. Along the development of the visuals, we tested the content produced to stay in line with cultural standards. Regular “do no harm” checks were conducted to make make sure we co-created appropriate content. When the content was produced we integrated it to the the LMS (Atingi) and organised a conference to officially launch the online course.
It is available in English and Dari on the Atingi portal.
Client: Mind games and GIZ
Services: Learning experience design, creative content production, implementation
Partners: Tessa de Boer (illustrations)
Context: In Afghanistan, the forest and landscape restoration department of GIZ wanted to develop a course for field officers. We were subcontracted by Mind games to develop the learning experience, storytelling and visuals of the course.
The objective of the course is to support field officers with the correct procedures to apply when it comes to landscape restoration along with conflict resolution tips to work with local communities.
